Julabo PRESTO A45t -45C 250C 7.5L Dynamic Temperature Control

The PRESTO® A45t expand JULABO’s portfolio of the completely newly developed PRESTO® family. Thanks to highly efficient technology and powerful components, the process circulators are suited for particularly demanding temperature controls tasks in laboratories and industrial plants; for example for the temperature control of reactors, material stress tests or temperature simulations.

Reactor temperature control, tests for all kinds of substances or temperature simulation – the new PRESTO are made for highly precise temperature control and rapid temperature changes. PRESTO provide large heating and cooling capacities covering a working temperature range from -92 °C to +250 °C. Highly efficient components allow extremely fast  compensation of exothermic and endothermic reactions.

Lab users benefit from high flow rates, constant pressure, and a controlled build-up of pump pressure. Changes in the temperature-control liquid’s viscosity are balanced dynamically. Permanent internal monitoring and self-lubricating pumps contribute to the new PRESTO®’s long service life. A special feature of the new PRESTO is the integrated 5.7’’ industrial touch screen. All important information is displayed clearly and concisely enhancing ease of use considerably. The new PRESTO can be operated intuitively with the tip of your finger.

As the new PRESTO operate whisper quiet, you will hardly hear them in your laboratory. Even high room temperatures of up to +40 °C will not make the new PRESTO sweat. Maintenance-free pumps and drives guarantee operational readiness. Multiple interfaces permit remote control of the PRESTO® across networks and in superordinated control systems. The Design does away with venting slots at the sides. The required installation space is reduced to an absolute minimum.

The units cover a working temperature range from -45  C to +250 °C and provide up to 3.4 kW cooling capacity. They are robust and reliable even at ambient temperatures of up to +40 C. The heating capacity of the A45 is 6 kW and double for the A45t at 12 kW. This permits these two highly dynamic temperature control systems to compensate exothermic and endothermic reactions extremely fast. The units are equipped with powerful, maintenance-free pumps delivering up to 3.2 bar pressure and a flow rate of up to 80 l/min. This guarantees high flow rates and constant pressure. The pump dynamically compensates for changes of the bath fluid’s viscosity. The pump performance can be controlled either in four stages or via a preset pressure value.

As typical for the new PRESTO®, the A45 and A45t are operated easily and interactively via an integrated 5,7’’ industrial color touch screen. For the user this means: a clear display of values and diagrams, all information at a glance, explicit warning and help text which are easy to understand.

As with all units of the PRESTO® family, the A45 and A45t are constructed to save space; the sides have no unwanted vents or connections. Thus the foot print is reduced to a minimum. This permits placing the PRESTO® close to other units or integrating them in a process plant. Extensive interfaces allow for flexible application, e.g. control and regulation via USB interface, data logging via USB or SD card, and integration into bus solution (e.g. Profibus) remote control via Ethernet networks or wireless control with the WirelessTEMP solutions by JULABO.

Competent advice, a consultative customer approach for suitable solutions and many more service features provide the optimal temperature control solution for any user of JULABO units.
